Daffodil Cake
Daffodil Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9 eggs, separated, 1 tsp. cream of tartar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 1/4 c. sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Beat egg whites until frothy.
Add cream of tartar and salt. Beat until stiff.
Fold in sugar.
Pour half of egg white mixture into another bowl.
Into one half, fold in vanilla and 1/2 cup flour.
Pour into a 10-inch tube pan.
Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
Add extracts; fold into remaining egg whites. Fold in remaining flour.
Pour over mixture in tube pan.
Cut through batter several times with knife.
Bake at 350Β° for about 50 minutes.
Invert pan and cool.
Remove and frost as desired.
