Daddy Hillyers Hunters Eggs is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage meat (room temperature), 6 slices stale and toasted bread, make into crumbs, 6 small hard-boiled eggs, peeled and 1 small raw egg, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Beat raw egg.
Mix sausage and 1/2 of bread crumbs well. Season boiled eggs with salt and pepper; pull off part of sausage mixture (about golf ball size) and flatten in your hand.
Roll boiled egg in beaten egg and wrap completely with sausage, leaving no holes.
Roll sausage covered egg in beaten egg again and in bread crumbs.
Bake at 325Β° for 20 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
