Custard Pie
Custard Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 c. milk and 1 c. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 450°. Line 9-inch pan with pastry.
Brush the inside with egg whites.
Beat eggs slightly with fork; add the sugar and salt.
Stir until blended.
Add milk and cream; blend well.
Gently pour into pie crust.
Sprinkle nutmeg on top.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 300° and continue to bake for 50 minutes.
