Cubed Steak Deluxe
Cubed Steak Deluxe is an moderately easy dinner. Made with cubed steaks, flour, seasoned with salt and pepper, 1 to 2 tbsp. flour, 1 tbsp. bouillon and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Coat steaks with flour, seasoned with salt and pepper.
Brown in oil, then remove from pan.
Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons of flour with drippings.
Dissolve bouillon in cup of water and add to flour mixture in pan.
Add enough milk to make a thin gravy.
Add cooking sherry and stir well.
Return steak to gravy.
Top with slices of onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
Cover tightly and simmer approximately 1 hour.
