Crunchy Oatmeal Cookies* is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1 egg, well beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cream butter, add sugars, then add egg and vanilla.
Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, salt and baking powder and add to creamed mixture.
Last, add cornflakes, oats, coconut and nuts. Shape dough with hands into small balls and place about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes. Yields approximately 3 dozen cookies.
