Crispy Corn Dogs
Crispy Corn Dogs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 10 hot dogs, 1 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 tbsp. yellow corn meal, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Pat hot dogs dry with paper towels.
In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and cornmeal. Cut in shortening thoroughly.
Stir in egg and milk.
Dip hot dogs in batter, allowing excess batter to drip into bowl.
Fry in hot oil in fryer until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Insert wooden skewer in end of each corn dog.
