Crimson Pride Cake

Cream sugar and oil and add eggs.
Beat until real creamy. Add coloring to vinegar and set aside.
Sift flour, cocoa, salt and soda together.
Add coloring mixture to sugar mixture. Alternately add flour mixture and buttermilk to sugar mixture. Add vanilla and mix well.
Bake in three layers at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Cool and frost.
