Crescent Rolls
Crescent Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. active dry yeast, 3/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~), 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Stir in sugar, salt, eggs, shortening and 2 cups flour; beat until smooth.

Scrape dough from sides of bowl; cover and let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours.
Divide dough in half; roll each half into 12-inch circle.
Spread with melted butter; cut into 16 wedges (I like to do this with a pizza cutter).
Roll up each wedge, beginning at rounded edge.
Place rolls with point under on a greased baking sheet.
Cover and let rise until double, about 1 hour.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
Brush rolls with melted butter.
