Creole Sauce With Ziti is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. thinly sliced onion, 4 tsp. olive oil or salad oil, bay leaf, 2 1/2 c. canned tomatoes and 1 green pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Saute onions in oil until soft; do not brown.
Add bay leaf, tomatoes, pepper, cloves and sugar.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes; stir flour and water.
Remove bay leaf and cloves and cook
5 minutes more.
Cooked with grated cheese.
