Creamy Rice Pudding
Creamy Rice Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. carolina rice, 7 c. whole milk (reserve 1 c.), 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. butter and 4 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Boil rice, 6 cups milk, salt and butter together for approximately 25 minutes or until rice is tender.
In blender, place egg yolks, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup milk.
Add this blended mixture to cooked rice mixture and return to a full, rolling boil. Place in dish and add vanilla.
Fold in meringue from egg whites. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
