Creamy Potato Soup
Creamy Potato Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices bacon, 1 c. chopped onion, 2 c. cubed potatoes, 1 c. water and 2 cans (10 1/2 oz. size) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In saucepan, cook bacon until crisp; set aside.
Pour off all but 3 tablespoons drippings from saucepan.
Add onions and brown a bit.
Add potatoes and water.
Cook, covered, about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Blend in chicken soup, milk and salt. Heat but do not boil.
