Creamy Chocolate Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/3 c. flour, pinch of salt, 2 c. milk and 2 egg yolks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In a saucepan, mix the cocoa, flour, salt and 1 cup milk. Stir until smooth over low heat.
Mix egg yolks and the other cup of milk in small bowl. Beat until foamy.
Gradually pour in pan with cocoa mixture. Cook until mixture thickens.
Add butter and vanilla. (Use egg whites to make meringue top.)
Put pie filling in cooked shell.
