Creamed Sauerkraut
Creamed Sauerkraut is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (16 oz.) can sauerkraut, margarine or butter, 1 tbsp. flour, 1 large onion or 2 (if you like onions) and 1 large frying pan, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Drain and rinse sauerkraut.
Save about 1/4 cup of rinsed liquid for thickening.
Dice onion and simmer until golden brown. Stir in sauerkraut in same pan as onions (low heat).
Mix flour and liquid.
Pour into sauerkraut and onions.
Stir until liquid thickens.
Simmer a little longer.
Enjoy with pork or kielbasa.
