Cream Pralines
Cream Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box light brown sugar (lb.), 1/8 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. evaporated milk, 1 tsp. butter and 1/2 lb. pecan halves (2 c.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In 2 quart saucepan combine sugar, salt, milk and butter.
Stir over low heat until sugar melts.
Increase to medium heat and cook to soft ball stage (234Β°).
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cool for 5 minutes.
After cooling, stir rapidly until mixture thickens and coats pecans lightly.
Drop quickly on foil from a tablespoon.
If mixture becomes too stiff, add a few drops hot water.
Let candy cool and set before removing from foil.
