Cream Cheese Cookies
Cream Cheese Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 egg, 1/4 tsp. vanilla and 1 (18.5 oz.) pkg. yellow or devil's food cake mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream the butter and cheese.
Blend in egg and vanilla.
Add cake mix (dry), 1/3 at a time, mixing well after each addition. If mixer is used, add last third of cake mix by hand.
Cover. Chill 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Drop by scant teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet.
