Cranberry Surprise Loaf
Cranberry Surprise Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1 egg, 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour bottom only of 9 x 5 x 2 3/4-inch loaf pan (there is too much batter for an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan).
In small bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add 1 egg and blend well; set aside.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
In large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Stir in juice, margarine and beaten egg.
Fold in cranberries and nuts.
