Cranberry Nut Bread
Cranberry Nut Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease or spray with Pam and flour pans.
In large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and soda.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In medium bowl, beat eggs, orange juice and orange peel until blended.
Add cranberry sauce and mix well (if using fresh cranberries, fold them in when nuts are added).
Stir wet mixture into flour mixture, just until flour is moistened.
Gently stir in nuts.
Spoon evenly into loaf pans.
Bake for 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in batter comes out clean.
Cool bread in pans on wire rack for 10 minutes. Then remove from pans.
Makes 3 loaf pans or 6 mini loaves.
