Cranberry Bread
Cranberry Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. soda and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Sift dry ingredients together.
In a measuring cup, put juice and grated rind of 1 orange, 2 tablespoons melted shortening and enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup.
Cool and add egg and dry ingredients.
Do not beat too much.
Add 3/4 cup nuts and cranberries cut in half.
Pour in loaf pan.
