Crabmeat Casserole
Crabmeat Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (8 1/2 oz.) cans artichoke hearts, drained (i prefer progresso brand), 1 lb. crabmeat, 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sauteed, 4 tbsp. butter and 2 1/2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Place artichokes in bottom of 2 1/2-quart baking dish; spread a layer of crabmeat.
Add a layer of sauteed mushrooms.
Melt butter in a saucepan; add flour, cream, salt, Worcestershire sauce, sherry, paprika, cayenne pepper and pepper.
Stir well after each addition to form a smooth sauce. Pour sauce over artichoke-crab layer and spread with cheese on top.
Bake 30 minutes.
Serves 8.
