Crab Canapes
Crab Canapes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 18 thin slices sandwich bread, 6 tbsp. softened margarine, 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can crabmeat, drained and flaked, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1/4 c. ketchup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut 4 rounds from each slice of buttered bread with a small cookie cutter or glass.
(Plastic medicine cup is ideal.)
Place rounds on a cookie sheet and bake in a 400Β° oven for about 6 minutes; cool.
May store in a plastic bag, sealed.
Combine crab, cheese, ketchup, onion and lemon juice.
Mix well and chill.
Just before serving, spread crab mixture on each toasted round and place on a serving tray.
