Cowboy Strawberry Shortcake

As directed in a 13 x 9 x 1 1/2-inch pan. When done, stick holes all over cake with a fork.
Mix Jell-O with 1 1/2 cups hot water and pour over cake.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes, then put strawberries and juice on top.
Top with the vanilla pudding mix and milk; mix well and fold in Cool Whip. Keep cake refrigerated.
