Country Sausage Muffins
Country Sausage Muffins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. pork sausage, 1 c. self-rising cornmeal, 1 (8 oz.) carton french onion dip, 1 c. all-purpose flour and 1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimiento, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown sausage, stirring to crumble.
Drain well, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings. Combine flour, cornmeal, sausage and pimiento. Add reserved drippings, onion dip and milk.
Stir just enough to moisten dry ingredients.
Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 425Β° for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 1 dozen muffins.
