Country Club Squash
Country Club Squash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. sliced yellow squash (green too), 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. water, 1 (8 oz.) sour cream and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook squash and onion in 1/2 cup boiling water until tender; drain and mash.
Combine squash mixture, sour cream, salt, pepper and basil.
Pour into greased 2-quart casserole.
Combine breadcrumbs, cheese, butter and paprika.
Sprinkle over squash mixture.
Top with bacon.
Bake at 300Β° for 20 minutes.
