Country Chicken Pie
Country Chicken Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. cooked chicken, deboned and pulled in pieces, 1 box frozen peas and carrots, 1 can mushroom soup, 1 jar mushroom slices and 2 tbsp. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine all ingredients except egg.
Prepare pie crust.
Put in pan and spoon chicken mixture into crust and spread evenly.
Cut slits in top crust.
Place over chicken mixture.
Flute edges and brush with egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water.
Bake at 400Β° for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown and inside is bubbly.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
