Cottage Cheese Balls
Cottage Cheese Balls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. cottage cheese, 1/2 c. chopped nuts (any kind; i use walnuts), 1 c. bread crumbs, 4 eggs and 1 onion, chopped fine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix all ingredients together.
If mixture is too soft, more crumbs may be added.
Form into balls about the size of a large walnut and drop into deep fat.
Cook until they turn a deep, golden brown.
At this stage, they may be stored in the freezer for future use or place in a shallow casserole; pour sauce over them and bake in medium oven for 1/2 hour.
