Cornbread Dressing
Cornbread Dressing is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. yellow cornbread mix, 3 slices white bread, dried, 1 onion, 1/2 c. milk and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Bake cornbread mix as directed on package.
In large mixing bowl, crumble cornbread.
Chop onion and saute in butter until onions look transparent.
Moisten breads with milk.
Add eggs, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning.
Add chicken stock a cup at a time until moistened and "goopy" as you like.
Bake at 350Β° in a greased 2-quart casserole.
