Cornbread

Beat eggs and milk together.

Sift the dry ingredients and add the egg-milk mixture.

Heat a 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan with the 4 tablespoons oil.

Coat the pan well with the oil.

Pour off remaining oil into the bread mixture and beat well.

Fill the oiled pan and bake at 400° for about 35 to 40 minutes.

Cut into squares.
