Corn Fritters
Corn Fritters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with crisco shortening (for frying), 1 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. sugar and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Heat 2 to 3 inches of Crisco in deep fryer or deep saucepan. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt in large bowl. Combine eggs, milk and 2 teaspoons melted shortening in medium bowl.
Stir in corn.
Add to flour mixture.
Stir until moistened. Drop by tablespoon, a few at a time, in hot shortening heated to 365Β°.
Fry 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown.
Turn as needed. Drain on paper towels.
Serve warm with syrup.
Makes 8 servings.
