Saute onion green pepper in butter for 5 minutes. Add flour, seasonings and milk; stir constantly until smooth and thick.
Combine mixture corn and beaten egg. Put mixture into shallow casserole.
Cover with buttered bread crumbs; brown in a moderate oven at 350° to 375°.
