Cool Rise Bread
Cool Rise Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. fleischmann's yeast, 1/2 c. warm water, 1 3/4 c. warm milk, 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. salt (if using self-rising flour, omit salt), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Dissolve yeast in water in a large warm bowl. Add milk, sugar, salt and margarine.
Stir in 2 cups unsifted flour.
Beat with rotary beater until smooth, about 1 minute. Add 1 cup flour and beat until mixed.
Gradually stir in enough additional flour (3 cups or more) to make a soft dough.
Turn onto lightly floured board and knead until smooth and elastic.
Cover dough with towel and let rest 20 minutes.
