Cookies From Sweden is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. soft butter, 1 c. sugar, 3 eggs, 1/2 c. sour cream and 3 1/4 c. sifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix together thoroughly the butter, sugar and eggs.
Stir in sour cream.
Sift together and stir in: flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Stir in cherries, citron, coconut, orange rind and almond extract.
Drop by rounded teaspoonful about 3-inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 7 to 8 dozen, 2-inch cookies.
