Company Chicken Casserole
Company Chicken Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. uncooked minute rice, 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can sliced mushrooms (optional), 4 to 6 or more boneless chicken breasts, 1 c. water and 2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans soup (mushroom, cream of celery or cream of chicken), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Sprinkle dry rice into the bottom of a well-greased baking dish.
In a large bowl, combine cans of soup, mushrooms and water chestnuts.
Shake the unopened envelope of onion soup mix to mix well.
Add 1/2 of the envelope to the soup mixture in the bowl. Stir well.
Pour mixture over the rice.
Place chicken breasts over the soup.
Pour the cup of water over the chicken breasts and sprinkle the other half of the dry onion soup mix over the chicken.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
