Cold Oven Pound Cake
Cold Oven Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter/margarine, 1/2 c. crisco (use only crisco), 6 eggs, 8 oz. carnation milk and 3 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix well the butter/margarine and Crisco.
Add eggs, 2 at a time.
Add Carnation milk, 1/3 at a time.
Add flour, vanilla, lemon, sherry and rum.
Place in a tube pan.
Place in cold oven and put on 350Β°.
Cook 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown.
