Cocoroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten, 2 c. post toasties and 1 c. baker's coconut (southern style), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Fold sugar and salt gradually into egg whites.

Fold Post Toasties and coconut gradually into mixture.

Add almond extract. Drop from teaspoon on greased baking sheet.

Bake in a 350Β° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Makes 3 dozen cocoroons.
