Coconut Pound Cake
Coconut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 3 c. sugar and 6 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream the butter, shortening and cream cheese; gradually add sugar.
Beat well at medium speed.
Add eggs one at a time. Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
Add to creamed mixture, stirring just until blended.
Stir in vanilla and coconut flavorings until blended.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove on wire rack and let cool.
