Coconut Pound Cake

Cream sugar and Crisco.
Add one egg at a time and beat 2 minutes after each addition.
Add coconut extract and add buttermilk, flour, baking powder and salt alternately.
Stir in coconut and put in greased and floured tube pan (not Bundt pan). Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
