Coconut Orange Jumbles
Coconut Orange Jumbles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1 c. shredded coconut, 2 1/2 c. sifted flour and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs.
Beat in coconut. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together and add alternately with orange juice to cream mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Drop by teaspoons on ungreased baking sheet.
Sprinkle with additional coconut and orange peel.
Bake in hot oven, 425Β°, for 10 to 12 minutes.
