Coconut Macaroons
Coconut Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. flour, 1/3 tsp. baking soda, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream shortening, butter, sugar and eggs.
Mix flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Then add first mixture.
Add oats and coconut.
Roll dough in walnut-size balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet 3 inches apart.
Top with walnut or pecan halves. Bake at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
