Coconut Cream Pie
Coconut Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. all-purpose flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, 2 c milk and 3 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In saucepan, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour and salt.
Gradually add milk, mix well.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils.
Cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat. Stir a small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks then return to hot mixture.
Cook 2 minutes more, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Pour into pie shell.
