Cocoa Party Cake
Cocoa Party Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 c. hershey's cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla.
Sift together cocoa, flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Pour into prepared pans.
Bake in three 9-inch round pans at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes; one 13 x 9 x 2 1/4-inch pan, bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
