Cocoa Cream Pie
Cocoa Cream Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. cocoa, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1/3 c. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt and 3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In a medium saucepan, stir together cocoa, sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Gradually add milk to dry ingredients, stirring until smooth.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Boil 1 minute.
Remove from heat; stir in margarine and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie crust.
Carefully press plastic wrap directly onto pie filling.
Cool; refrigerate 6 to 8 hours.
Top with whipped cream.
Refrigerate leftover pie.
