Cloud Biscuits
Cloud Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp. sugar, 4 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven
Lightly grease baking sheet. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut shortening pastry blender until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Well in center; stir in egg and milk all at once. Continue stirring until dough leaves side of the bowl.
Onto a lightly floured surface; knead, lifting one side of dough over the other, pressing out lightly with palm of hand.
Repeat 20 times. Roll out and cut biscuits being careful not to twist cutter.
Place on baking sheet and bake 12 to 15 minutes.
