Fry bacon and cut into tiny pieces.

Add onion to skillet and saute until golden.

Return bacon bits to skillet with potatoes and juice from clams. Add enough water to cover potatoes and simmer, covered, until potatoes are tender.

Warm gently; do not boil. Add salt and pepper to taste. Yield: 3 servings.
