Cinnamon Cookies
Cinnamon Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 2/3 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cup sugar and eggs.
Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
Chill for 1 hour.
Shape into small balls (a little larger than marbles).
Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Place about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
They will rise and fall just before they finish baking.
