Cinnamon Bread
Cinnamon Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Sift together dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Set aside.
Cream the shortening. Gradually add 1 cup sugar.
Add eggs.
Beat until fluffy and light.
Add dry mixture alternately with sour milk, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla and mix until well blended. Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon in another bowl.
Spoon half the batter into lightly greased loaf pan.
Sprinkle with half of the sugar/cinnamon mixture. Add remaining batter and sprinkle with remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake at 350Β° for 40 to
50 minutes or until done.
