Cinnamon Biscuits
Cinnamon Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, flour, 1/4 c. shortening and 3/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Stir together the baking powder and salt.
Cut shortening into flour with a pastry blender, then stir in milk with a fork.
Knead by folding, pressing and turning about 10 times on a lightly floured board.
Roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness.
Spread with soft butter; sprinkle with mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Roll dough along long side.
Pinch long edge to seal.
Cut into 1-inch slices and place, cut side down, in greased muffin pan.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
