Saute onions and mushrooms at 5 minutes.
Grease a 9 x 12-inch glass Pyrex pan with margarine.
Spread 1 cup cheese.
Break the eggs over the cheese.
Break the yolks, but do not stir. Salt and pepper to taste (if you are used to low salt tastes, leave out the salt altogether, the ham is salted).
Spread on ham and mushrooms. Pour cream over all.
Sprinkle on remaining cheese.
Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Place cold, in preheated oven. Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 40 to 45 minutes.
