Christmas Coffee Cake
Christmas Coffee Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter or margarine, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 1 c. sour cream and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter.
Add 1 cup sugar and the eggs.
Beat well.
Add sour cream and vanilla.
Mix well.
Beat in flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Pour half of the batter into a greased and floured tube pan.
Mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, cinnamon and nuts for the topping.
Sprinkle 3/4ths of the topping over batter in pan.
Add remaining batter; sprinkle with remaining topping mixture.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 60 minutes.
Do not open oven during baking.
