Chow Mein is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. oil, 1 clove garlic, mashed, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 lb. chinese vegetables and 1 tbsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat in skillet the oil, soy sauce and garlic.

Saute in oil mixture the mushrooms, onion and celery.

Add Chinese vegetables (bean sprouts, snow pea pods, bamboo shoots, ect.).

Thicken with cornstarch, water and molasses.

Serve on rice or chow mein noodles.

Makes 8 (1 cup) servings.
