Chow Chow
Chow Chow is an impressive dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 4 minutes. Made with large green tomatoes, c. ground onion, c. ground cabbage, red bell peppers and green bell peppers, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grind tomatoes and mix with other ground vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and let stand overnight.
Rinse and drain. Combine remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Add vegetables and simmer for 4 minutes.
Do not overcook. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
Process in hot water bath (212Β°) for 5 minutes. Remove jars and complete seal.
